The Safety Library is composed by a set of software (C) modules implementing Safety Integrity Functions (SIF) also called Safety Mechanisms (SM) to protect the system against systematic and random failures and to ensure the appropriate integrity of the execution environment for Safety Functions (SF) which ultimately are there to ensure a Safety Goals.

SILcap

SILcap is an analysis tool guiding through the Safety Criticality Analysis/System FMEA and the subsequent Software HAZOP of an (programmable) electronic system or sub-system according to the requirements of EN / IEC 61508-2/-3.

END USER

exSILentia helps users achieve a new level of consistency and productivity in the design of their Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
All-new functionality allows users to follow the entire IEC 61511 / ISA 84 functional safety lifecycle for the first time using a single tool. It also supports compliance with regulations such as OSHA PSM 1910.119 (USA) and Seveso II (Europe).

SILAlarm™ is a tool for facilitating and documenting the results of alarm rationalization in a master alarm database. It was developed in accordance with the ISA-18.2 standard “Management of Alarm Systems for the Process Industries” and EEMUA 191.
SILAlarm guides a rationalization team through a systematic, tailorable process of reviewing, justifying and documenting the design of each alarm.

The SERH, which has been developed from exida product design, reviews activities (including FMEDA analyses), and contains data from over 1400 components.
